Pirates at Ocean's Edge looks to be the mother of all Pirates set so far. I mean this set has everything, flying dragons, giant sharks, undead crews, heros to save the day, and pirate hotties. Oh ya ships too ... did i mention pirate hotties. I mean wheres the kitchen sink man! So in this set we see a return of some old favorites like El Fantasma, Davy Jones and Jack Hawkins. Junks make a come back with cool 6 mast ships and armored turtle ships. New giant crab and giant shark sea monsters round out the set nicely. We started carrying this game because our staff (and through us, our friends) picked it up as a fun "change of pace" from the ultra-competitive card games and other minis we all play. We give Pirates really high marks - not only are the ships extremely cool, gameplay is easy, and there are enough combos and depth for the serious gamer as well. Furthermore, we believe it has the best tabletop multiplayer experience of any of the games we sell, and plays really well with 4 or 5 players. We figure - if you're like us (in other words, you love games, and you have friends who love games) - this is a fun one to try. Pay us a visit when you're trying to track down some missing ships or crew!
