Your worst Nightmares has come to life!
Wizkids has finally rolled out its next set of Horrorclix called Nightmares. This set has been anxiously awaited by horror fans and is not lacking in excitement and fun. First the set has followed in the Heroclix footsteps by being packaged in the larger box and adding a fifth figure. Further more they have dropped the rookie, experienced, veteran versions for a more streamlined set and more aggressive pieces. The set has a variety of horrors ranging from the hilarious with Wizard of Oz theme Dorothy, Lion, Tin Man, and Scarecrow zombie style or beat stick Santa with his rippling muscles and naughty list to the ultra cool Archangel in armor with laser rifle and the matrix like Street Samurai. The set definitely as we have seen with Heroclix, seen an up grade to its look and craftsmanship with pieces like Nessie and Centipede. And not to be left out the fan boys are going to drool over the Succubus which has to be the sexist horror I’ve ever seen, yes I failed my will power roll, I’m ready for Hell now. All in all Nightmares is a welcome boost to the game and will add some great depth to play with monsters that rescue victims and pieces that give minions powers, so get ready for some wicked fun.
Editor's Notes: HorrorClix has familiar mechanics to clix players (in fact, the game is compatible with Heroclix - Batman can battle some zombies). Chasing around "victims" to power up your monsters is hilarous, and the monster cards and plot twists have a lot of flavor, horror cliches, and humor in them. It's a very clever game, and should be a hit with anyone that enjoys the horror genre.
